views–courtesy of its 3,500-foot elevation and populated with cedar, pine,

oak, willow and dogwood trees—is a short drive (pun intended) away. We are

1 hour northeast of Stockton, one hour southeast of Sacramento, 30 minutes

from Kirkwood Ski Resort, and just 40 minutes from the Lake Tahoe area.
